What's the best way to upgrade to SD 2 from SD RC?

Is there a way to update the SD installtion to 2.0? or should I uninstall my current installation and then re install 2.0?

Yes uninstall and install 2.0, there's not real upgrade path. You should also clear out '~/.speeddreams2/' (or 'My Documents/speed-dreams-2.settings') as some of the config files might have changed.
