problematic .ac file

Postby ATS » Mon Jun 04, 2012 11:30 am

Hi,

I have some 3d scene (an attached ac3d file). When I try to load it in a sample track as
<attstr name="3d description" val="smallest.ac" />
the speed dreams crashes with
malloc.c:4471: _int_malloc: Assertion `(bck->bk->size & 0x4) == 0' failed.

As far as I understood, one may use any 3d scene that should not affect the game.
So what could be a problem with that file?

Thanks,

Regards,
Tigran

Hi ATS,

can you remove multiple material ?
I don't sure that SD managed crease 179.

Your 3D scene have a xml description ? And your track have not a closed track.

Cheers

Hi Xavier,

Thanks for your reply (sorry, I did not see it earlier) !

I succeeded to make it work, but I don't know what are the underlying reasons.
The problem was created by some kind of objects (for example, fences).
After removing those, the file is accepted by sd2.

Yes, my 3d scene has an xml description of a normal track (which does not correspond at all to this 3d scene)
But for now it is not a problem, since the track and 3d scene is flat and I disabled the collision test (with barriers)
So I can drive on this map (and also go through any object)...
