Cannot Install

Have tried from sources but cannot fild plib to install
then tried ppa but it is not working at the moment
then tried desura but still cant get it to work
need help as had running but my linux crashed on update and i lost game and was working opn new class of cars (old group C)

Hi,
Regarding building from source, you need to have the '-dev' plib package. These are the ones I have installed on my machine (Natty based)

ii libplib-dev 1.8.5-5 Portability Libraries: Development package
ii libplib1 1.8.5-5 Portability Libraries: Run-time package

You could build plib from source, but that's probably more pain than you need

got past that point and stuck in make install
Linking CXX executable sd2-nfsperf
/usr/local/lib/libSDL.so: undefined reference to `_XGetRequest'

you may need to upgrade or patch SDL.
