Absolute, ignorant, clueless Linux newbie help

I've loaded Linux Mint because it's supposed to be the easiest version for the Linux-impaired, and I can't figure out how to load Speed Dreams. Linux terminology mystifies me, the way Windows terminology did when I switched from DOS. In fact, trying to do anything with my Ipod Touch mystifies me the same way, using Ifile.

A relatively easy way is to install it from the PlayDeb site

There are some instructions at the site -- you'll have to fiddle with your repositories a bit if my memory serves me.

Thanks for the help, but it didn't work for me. Maybe Mint restricts its users to what it knows is best for them. My foray into Linux-land failed, so it's back to XP.
