Game installed but won't run

Hi, I won't be surprised if the problem is on my end but I can't get the game to run.

I was given a wheel and pedals and just wanted to try them out.

I am running XP and they check out under the controller option but I wanted to try them as I don't have a driving game.

Even though I'm about lost on the computer, I managed to download version 2.0 and install the basic files.

I click on the game in progam menu and something seems to start, I very briefly see a square that instantly drops or compresses into nothing. I checked task manager and nothing is running.

I read the read me file and found where the speed dreams file in the documents and settings could prevent the game from running so I sent it to the recycle bin and tried again but the same thing happens.

If anyone could let me know what I'm doing wrong or could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
