Help the SD project! What are your controller settings?

Postby aeggy » Sun Mar 24, 2013 5:56 pm

We like to create a wiki page about controller and best settings of them.
So tell us as a comment below what kind of controller you use and what your personal settings for steer sens, speed sens, dead zone, axis and buttons are.
Don't forget to calibrate your controller first!

An example:

Logitech RumblePad
Steer sens: 0.100
Speed sens: 0.100
Dead zone:0
Axis 0 for left/right
Button 5 throttle/ button 7 brake

I'm using PS2 like joystick, for sensitivity I copycat mungewell settings

Steer sense : 1.000
Speed sense : 0.000
Dead Zone : 0.005

Analog right : throttle/brake
Analog left : left/right turn

X : throttle
Square : brake
Triangle : reverse
O : speed limiter

Up : -
Down : -
Left : left turn
Right : right turn

R1 : E. Brakes
R2 : gear up
L1 : clutch
L2 : gear down

Start : TCS on/off
Select : ABS on/off

I liked to switch from analog/D-pad settings for variations, and I used to play Gran Turismo, so that's why I set my controller based on Gran Turismo :)

I use a controller similar to a Dualshock 3...

Steer Sensitivity: 0.4
Speed Sens: 0.8
Dead Zone: 0.004

Right Trigger (R2): Throttle
Left Trigger (L2): Brake

Left Analog Stick: Turn
Right Analog Stick: Look left/right

X: Handbrake
Square: Shift down
Circle: Shift up
Triangle: Speed limiter

L1 (Left bumper): Clutch
R1 (Right bumper): Not used

D-Pad Up: Lights
D-Pad Down: ABS switch
D-Pad Right: TCS switch
D-Pad Down: Not used
