multiple players

Hello,

Single keyboard, single display, two joysticks.
Want to play two players with joysticks.
I configured two players.
I configured a race with these two players.

however I get split screen, while I can control only one using the F1...F11.

So I can see one player's view but the other is switching between viewpoints.

If I put the player1 and player2 at top of the list I do see both of them, but still not able to control both views.

Is there a way to switch the focus or a way to have control for both users?
`
What am I missing?

Regards,
Alon Bar-Lev.

You have to move the mouse to change the viewpoint of the driver you want.

Retarded I know, but no better solution for now.

The split screens are controlled as follows:
'(' adds another split
')' removes a split
'_' rearranges splits
'tab' switches between splits
PgUp/PgDown changes the driver of the current view.

For two (or more) players, just use the player config menu to define the controls for each player to the relevant joystick/wheel and perform the calibration process for each.

Add the two (or more) humans to a race with optional robot apponents.

When you start the race the screens might be muddled, hit pause ('p') and configure them how you like them. Using 'tab' will move a little green square in the bottom right of the split, this shows which split is active, and you can then select the view you want/etc....

We only support 1 audio output, so the sound follows the green square/selected split.

Enjoy the race,
Simon.

EDIT: If one of you enters the pits the race will automatically pause whilst you select your options.... just have memories one of my kids screaming "you're going to make me crash!!" and hitting her brother so I thought I better tell you ;-)

Thank you!

The "mouse over split" was the break through, I could not imagine that...
I cannot see that <Tab> is doing anything, nor ()_.
But I am good now!

For the audio... It should be simple (in case of 2 drivers) to put left channel for driver1 and right channel to driver2... :)

F1 should bring up a page of key mapping. What keyboard are you on? We've have some problems with German keyboard in the past....

I am using the 1.4 version... not 2.0 beta, so maybe this is the reason...

I don't see TAB in F1 help, so I guess 1.4 does not support this.

Thanks
