In SD this car makes far more power than the stated 335 horses - a staggering 570 horsepower!!!
Was that intentional!?

No, since the car only has a three speed transmission, I was trying to get the top speed realistic, so I tweaked things to get it to run fast enough. If you know a better way please feel free to make any changes. The car in reality should be able to run in the 200 kph range (top speed on a straightaway.)
Edit: I averaged all the track speeds for the 1957 season and it is 60 mph (96.5 kph) of course the tracks vary considerably from about 39 mph (62.7 kph) to 101 mph (162.5 kph). Perhaps it would be better to kick it down to an average?

Increasing the suspension travel eliminated the "crow hop", try this. Car feels a lot smoother and it's more fun to slide on road courses now.

Cool, I can't wait to give it a try. I also modified it to get the proper 335 H.P. It'll only run 90 mph or 145 kph, but after comparing it to other SD cars, I decided that's probably OK. I've started work on another 1957 car to so it'll have some competition.

Haruna, yes I think that’s much better. You also changed something to do with ride height too … correct? When I get a chance I’m gonna repost the whole car with all these tweaks, which will hopefully be the final version.

Thanks WEC. I haven't given up on this project -- just been very busy lately. I'm currently reworking this entire car (as well as some others) because I noticed after various failed tests and experiments while developing it, my model became somewhat corrupted. I'm trying to get it optimized.
