Short Track Ovals

Postby WingCommander » Sun Aug 21, 2011 10:50 pm

There are many short tracks around the country so I thought I would make a couple. It is amazing how challenging it can be to bump and grind around a steep banked 1/2 mile!

-Track Name: Whip City
-Track Length: 412m (1/4 mile)
-Track Description: Short, dirt oval like for sprint cars.
-Origin: Whip City Raceway, Westfield, MA
-File:
WhipCity.zip

-Track Name: Bristol
-Track Length: 800m (1/2 mile)
-Track Description: High banked asphalt oval
-Origin: Bristol Motordrome ( :o spell check doesn't like that word  )
-File:
Bristol.zip

As always, my files were developed for TORCS!

24 pits for Bristol. 9 for Whip City.

I have tested both with Torcs. I think they work with SD

Bristol works excelente at Torcs 1.3.6, but Whip crashes instantly at load.

EDIT

I put Whip in the right category (dirt) and it goes very well ;-)

Ill will get on to testing that as soon as I can, as for the Silber and the Centuary, maybe the fact they haven't been changed lead to something funny when the new physics was implemented? Would fiddling with the code fix it maybe, if I learnt what I was doing?
