Track Editor Gui

Postby Levan » Fri Aug 08, 2014 6:30 pm

I want to create a track for Speed Dreams

Sadly I have no experience with this, I am seeking for an advice on this.

Lovely people of the Speed Dreams community can you recommend a good track editor for this game??

Guide on this would be fantastic as well.

Thank you for your time.

Me too. I want to create a long endurance track (Like E-Track 4 in TORCS) with a tunnel, some hairpin turns, esses, and stuff like that, but don't know how.

The track editor/creator that ships with TORCS by default is good enough for at least setting the base track down, you can then use Blender or AC3D to add details and stuff. It's obviously not THAT simple but it works.

Track editor is available to download here http://www.berniw.org/trb/index.php?page=downloads. There is a "docs" folder included with Track editor that has a tutorial on how to get started using it.

I am working on a track generator/editor for Speed Dreams. I have been using OpenStreetMap / MapQuest Open. It is still in the prototype stage but it will support elevation. (Thanks, Simon)
