Network play is present in SVN, however it's still under development and has some strong dependances. If you're familiar with compiling code its not hard to build the code.... which platform are you on?

The 'INSTALL.TXT' does a pretty good job of explaining it all:
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/speed- ... NSTALL.txt

For Mint/Ubuntu/Debian/etc you need to install the appropriate packages and grab the source for SpeedDreams
Code: Select all
$ sudo apt-get install build-essential subversion
$ svn co https://speed-dreams.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/speed-dreams/trunk speed-dreams-svn
$ cd speed-dreams-svn

and then do
Code: Select all
$ cmake -D OPTION_OFFICIAL_ONLY:BOOL=OFF .

Install any packages that it complains it can't find (ie. 'enet' would be '$ sudo apt-get install libenet-dev') and repeat the 'cmake' command. You need 'OPTION_OFFICIAL_ONLY:BOOL=OFF' as LAN stuff is not yet official.

and then
Code: Select all
$ make
$ sudo make install

And you should be 'good to race'
