[suggestion needed] good budget laptop for Spped Dreams

Postby ayrusida » Tue May 06, 2014 6:37 pm

First, forgive me for appropriate and amusing question :?

Actually i had a pc with spec :

MBoard Asrock H61M/DG3-USB3
Proccessor Pentium G2010
GCard Radeon 5570
Seagate 1 tb (can't remember the series)
and 4gb RAM

not high enough but can run SD smoothly, the problem is my brother took it away :x :x :x , so i can't play SD anymore  :(
I prefer to buy a laptop rather than quarelling him, since he took it to his dorm (even I've paid for the RAM/GCard/HDD and joystick)
the question is :

1. What laptop or notebook that has spec equal with my previous PC?
2. how much it's price?
3. Or what laptop/notebook that can run Speed Dreams Smoothly but with reasonably price?

My Friend suggest to buy a sickle and chop my brother head off, but that's plain stupid, my senior told my to buy some high end book, but I don't have that much. Please give me suggestion, cause i want to play Speed Dreams :)

I've got a Toshiba Satellite L505-GS6000 notebook with an AMD processor and video. It runs SD pretty smoothly. It was a medium priced laptop in its day, but it's several years old now, so I'd think you would not have too much trouble getting an off-the-shelf modern unit to work pretty well.

I don't use Blender much, but yes that laptop I described will run Blender just fine. It's set up as a dual boot Win7 and Linux Mint 13. It'll run SD in both Win and Linux and Blender in both as well.
