Moving shots

pretty hard to take pics on the move, replay will wake this section of the forum up when it gets released :mrgreen:

I found it easier with two people; one to drive and the other to press 'F12' for screen shots.

i can drive and take the shot, it's not too hard. a nice camera angles means i just can't see where the hell i'm going :lol:

Split screen.... on a two monitor setup have one as 'fancy view' and other as 'driver view'. Then after you have taken the screen shots just crop off the driver view half.

If you don't have two monitors, use a 'windowed' view wider than screen and position it so you can just see enough to drive/take the shot.

tried again, the fancy camera is never pointing in the right direction as i go around the track :roll: so it's still either a two man job or wait for the replay function
does the SVN version have the replay function implemented yet?

Replay (along with Ghost cars and the like) was in the feature suggestions for SD2.0, however as noted it's not done... and we're pretty close to actually release SD2.0 (whoo whoo) so it's not happening now.

This will presumably get deferred to SD3.0, if you have any suggestions of other features you'd like to see in SD3.0 please file an 'enhancement' in our bug reporting system:

We'd like to be able to make SD the coolest simulator around and this means even little suggestions can make game play better.

Agree. This really signifies the whole SD3.0 though the shots weren't that good enough however the details seemed to appear like the actual racing...
